Alpharetta Modern Farmhouse | Project Spotlight

This beautiful custom home was built by TPA Construction. The design features large open floor plan with delightful architectural details at every turn. The space features Wellborn Forest Cabinetry and Amerock Hardware.

The house had a great floorplan and we wanted to enhance the features with a neutral design palette that worked well with the open design concept but also felt livable. For the kitchen we opted for soft white cabinets, muted gray countertop and accented the space with pops of brass gold- from the hardware, to the lighting and even the backsplash and gold wire mesh insert.

Since the kitchen opened to the dining room, family room and entry we wanted to space to feel open while ensuring that each space felt anchored.

The laundry room also acts as the mudroom and has amazing views of the backyard. In order to enhance the views we kept the tile, countertop and flooring simple. We went with a beautiful black slate in a herringbone pattern.

The master bath is one of our favorite spaces in the house. The white muted cabinets create the serene and calming atmosphere the client desired. To keep the space from feeling flat, we added warm tones of brass gold for the lighting and hardware and pops of wood.

For the secondary baths we decided to go dark and went with in stock black cabinets which work perfectly with the dark doors and pop against the gold accents.
